We are appealing for information regarding Veronique Lawrence Belcher.
(date of birth: 6 may 1962). Veronique is of French nationality with British adoptive parents. Born Veronique Vidal in France. Veronique Belcher worked in a hotel in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 1980. Her estimated age in 1981 is 18 years of age. It is likely that Belcher is now her maiden name and that she uses another name.

This information is being sought by her biological daughter, born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on the 29th January 1981. Her daughter's birth name being Carol Belcher. The legal adoption was performed by the George Magistrate. This appeal for information has been made by her daughter who wishes to meet Veronique Belcher, her biological mother. Her quest to meet her mother has been ongoing for several years but has not resulted in a contact.

Veronique's father by adoption, Frank Edward Thomas Belcher married June Belcher in 1950. Frank Belcher, worked abroad most of the time, installing Fully Fashioned Knitwear machines which were built in the United Kingdom (England). Frank Belcher died on the 4th June 1977 in Germany after relocating there and marrying Gudrun and having a daughter. Veronique was adopted in France through Yvette & Gerard. Yvette was Veronique's mother's sister.

Why we created this site:

We've spent a lot of time online etc. searching for the biological mother, Veronique Lawrance Belcher but to no avail. We realised that it may be possible that one day, Veronique herself will do an online search out of curiosity and be able to finally make contact with her biological daughter. This site is part of her daughter's quest in recent years to find her mother. We have within 2 months, 10 days made contact via this website with Veronique's adoptive mother; June Belcher and her former babysitter; Jane.
